On December 19, 2007, Virginia Roberta (Robbie) Chamberlain Brockwehl died peacefully at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Patty Turner, surrounded by her family and friends.

Robbie was born August 26, 1947 in Danville, Virginia, and is survived by her parents Banks Chamberlain and Virginia Ferguson Chamberlain of Chatham, Virginia, and her son, Ken Turner, daughter-in-law Patty Combs Turner, and her four-year-old grandson, Maxwell Nevin Turner, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia. Other surviving family members are her brother Banks Ronald Chamberlain of Colorado Springs, Colorado; niece, Amber Dawn Chamberlain Reiter, of Alexandria, Virginia; nephew Banks Randall Chamberlain of Japan, and niece Cerise Renee Chamberlain of Vermont, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Robbie was a member of Morning Star Lutheran Chuch in Luray, Virginia.

A celebration of her life will be held at the church on Friday, January 4, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Marble officiating. Cards may be sent to Ken and Patty Turner.
