Ronnie Wayne Hart, 44, Route 1, Java, Virginia, died Wednesday afternoon, October 4, 1989, at his residence.
Born September 12, 1945, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, he was a son of Earl Wayne Hart and Ruby Lane Hart Merricks.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Riceville and was employed by the Babcock and Wilcox Company in Lynchburg.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Nora Reynolds Hart; three sons, Wayne T. Hart, Joseph G. Hart and Donnie Hart, all of Altavista; three sisters, Linda H. Mays of Blairs, Joanne Redd of Java and Sharon Myers of Nathalie; three brothers, Larry F. Hart of Waynesboro, Capt. Jerry L. Hart of Langley Air Force Base, and Michael K. Hart of Java; two step-brothers, Frank Merricks, Jr., of Charlotte, N.C., and Wayne Merricks of Danville; three step-sisters, Joan Moorefield of Java, Joyce Lloyd of Chatham, and Susan Redd of Java.
The funeral was conducted at the First Baptist Church of Riceville at 2 p.m. Friday, October 6, by the Rev. Shelton Miles III. Intermet was in the Hillcrest Burial Park.
