CHATHAM — Steven Comer Moore, 49, 8129 Callands Road, died Wednesday, January 22, 1997, in his residence.

Born February 15, 1947, in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of Addison Comer Moore and Anna Rogers Moore, who survive.

He was married to Diane Hudgins Moore, who survives.

He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church. He was employed as a track supervisor for Norfolk Southern Railroad. He served in the Vietnam Conflict.

In addition to his wife and his parents of Chatham, survivors include two daughters, Jacqueline P. Moore and Melissa F. Moore, both of Manassas; a son, Steven C. Moore, Jr., of Chicago; two brothers, David R. Moore of Elon College, North Carolina, and Donald L. Moore of Chatham; and a sister, Patsy M. Poteat of Danville.

The funeral will conducted 11 a.m. Friday from Hollywood Baptist church by the Rev. J. Haywood Alcorn and the Rev. Julian P. Griffin. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, Thursday, January 23, at Hollywood Baptist Church, and other times at the residence of his parents, 421 Strawberry Road, Chatham.
